Helsing Junction Farms CSA Mini Share

Mini Share

Feeds 2-3 people

The Mini Share has been designed with the small or busy household in mind; it feeds approximately 1+ people. It is composed of a wide array of seasonal vegetables. Mini Shares contain 6-7 items per week, here is an approximation of what each week's box will contain...
-1 or 2 snack items such as carrots, snap peas, mini peppers and cherry tomatoes
-1 head of broccoli, broccolini, cabbage and cauliflower
-Shell peas and green beans make an appearance in early summer, to be replaced by sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes and other summer treats
-Root vegetables such as potatoes, baby turnips or parsnips when in season
-Onions, shallots, green onions or leeks
-We usually include 1 bunch of greens a week
-Almost every week features 1 head of the 10 kinds of lettuce we grow and a bunch of fresh herbs, such as basil, flat leaf parsley or cilantro
-Our Mini Share occasionally includes fruit from our farm such as strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, melon and apples, when in season.

Medium Share

The Medium Share (formerly known as a Small Share) is our most popular share. It has been designed for households of 2-3 people. It is composed of a wide array of seasonal vegetables. Medium Shares contain 8-10 items per week, here is an approximation of what each week's box will contain...
-Several snack items such as carrots, snap peas, mini peppers and cherry tomatoes
-1 head of broccoli, broccolini, cabbage and cauliflower
-Shell peas and green beans make an appearance in early summer, to be replaced by sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes and other summer treats
-Root vegetables such as potatoes, baby turnips or parsnips when in season

-We usually include 1 bunch of greens a week

Large Share

The Large Share is our best deal. It has been designed for households of 4-5 people or for those that eat a lot of produce. It is composed of a wide array of seasonal vegetables. Large Shares contain 11-14 items per week, here is an approximation of what each week's box will contain...
-Several snack items such as carrots, snap peas, mini peppers and cherry tomatoes
-1 to 2 heads of broccoli, broccolini, cabbage and cauliflower
-Shell peas and green beans make an appearance in early summer, to be replaced by sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes and other summer treats
-Root vegetables such as potatoes, baby turnips or parsnips when in season
-Onions, shallots, green onions or leeks
-We usually include 2 bunches of greens a week
-Almost every week features 2 heads of the 10 kinds of lettuce we grow and a bunch or 2 of fresh herbs, such as basil, flat leaf parsley or cilantro
-Our Large Share occasionally includes fruit from our farm such as strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, melon and apples, when in season.

Paleo Share

20 weeks
Feeds 2-3 people

The Paleo Share has been designed for people eating a low sugar diet.
It is composed of vegetables that have a low-glycemic index and does not include fruit.
Paleo Shares contain 8-10 items per week and feeds 2-3 people. This is what we aim to provide on a weekly basis:
-Items to be eaten out of hand such as cucumbers, radishes and mini bell peppers
-Broccoli, broccolini, cauliflower or cabbage
-Root vegetables such as baby turnips, parsnips or celery root when in season
-Onions, shallots, green onions or leeks
-2 bunches of greens a week
-1 to 2 heads of the 10 kinds of lettuce we grow
-1 bunch of fresh herbs a week
-Plus other fleeting seasonal treats such as Japanese eggplant, heirloom summer squash or sweet peppers
The Paleo Share does not contain potatoes, sweet corn, green beans, watermelon or apples, though it will contain some carrots, beets and winter squash.

Healing Share

20 weeks
Feeds 2-3 people

The Healing Share emphasizes foods that fight inflammation and does not contain produce that may promote it, such as nightshades like tomatoes or peppers.
Healing Shares contain 8-10 items per week and feeds 2-3 people. This is what we aim to provide on a weekly basis:
-Items to be eaten out of hand such as cucumbers, radishes, carrots or snap peas
-Broccoli, cauliflower, romanesco or cabbage
-Root vegetables such as baby turnips, parsnips or celery root when in season
-Onions, shallots, green onions or leeks
-2 bunches of greens a week
-1 to 2 heads of the 10 kinds of lettuce we grow
-1 bunch of fresh herbs
-Plus other fleeting seasonal treats such as strawberries, snow peas, watermelon or winter squash
The Healing Share does not contain any tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, tomatillos or eggplant.

Snack Share

20 weeks
Feeds 1-2 people

For those of you who don't have time to cook, this share is meant to be eaten out of hand and is a munchable combination of vegetables and fruit. From snow peas to Sungold cherry tomatoes to heirloom apples, this box will contain the best snacks our farm has to offer.
